Here We Come: 2026 Season

Here We Come: 2026 Season

Long time no write - it's been an eventful off season following the end of last season in Vegas. The crew and I have been hard at work for the last several months and we're excited to kick off the 2026 season on May 9.

During the off season, we disassembled the car down to the bare bones and did a full rebuild. This allowed us to locate any bent parts, misalignment and really go over every inch of the car. While the car was in fairly good shape, safety is our number one priority and being thorough ensures safety. Followed closely is our second priority - speed.

This will be my third season in the GAM, and it’s been a roller coaster of highs and lows. After all the lessons from the past two years, I’m heading into 2026 with real confidence. The car has speed — now it’s on me to deliver.

My goals this season are simple but aggressive:

  • Finish every single race (no more carnage — we’re breaking that curse)
  • Finish in the top 5 in every event

A few weeks ago, we had the car out on track for a practice day. While it started a bit slow, by the end of the afternoon, we had gained speed and I had the confidence needed to handle the car. We hope to have another practice session at the end of this week, weather permitting, before Saturday's race.

Special thank you to Darren Robertson for working with us throughout the off season to get the car ready.

On a personal note, I'm really excited to share that the 21 crew gained one more member last fall. My sister had a baby boy, Mateo, in September... and I might be biased but he looks darn cute in his 21 gear!

Ryan Jones Racing is an operation run out of our home garage, funded by working on cars and the generosity from our sponsors. We've been honored to receive help from businesses that you don't want to miss - you supporting our sponsors, supports me. We have one new sponsor this year: Brighton Radiator and Muffler. Make sure to check them out; we're excited to have them as part of the Ryan Jones Racing team.

If you want to support the team, the best thing you can do is check out our sponsors, follow along and tell your friends. You can also stop by our trailer this Saturday (or any race weekend) to pick up some 21 merch - we'll have hats and t-shirts for purchase all season long.

Your support keeps this dream alive. See you at the track on May 9 — let’s make this season one to remember.
